I called Davis because my Viking Oven was not functioning properly. He came out the next day and diagnosed the problem. He ordered the parts and processed the repair in a timely manner. We've relied on Davis for appliance repairs over the past several years, and he has consistently provided excellent service. He is professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and communicates clearly throughout the process. His prices are always fair and reasonable.

Davis first helped us resolve a cooling issue with our Sub-Zero refrigerator. More recently, he repaired our LG dryer by replacing the heating element. Shortly after the repair, our dryer began making loud noises. Davis was quick to respond and came back to investigate. He discovered a separate issue that was completely unrelated to the original heating repair. As a courtesy, he replaced the drum belt at no additional charge.

Everything about dealing with Davis Appliance Repair was great.  I was able to book an appointment late at night, when no real person would answer.  They have an excellent on-line booking system.  The tech arrived within the expected time and went right to work.  He had my fridge diagnosed within 15 minutes, gave me the quote, then made the required repairs in another 15 minutes.  These guys are good !!!
NOTE: I was told to wait until morning before I put anything in the fridge.  If I experience any issues, I'll let you know...however, their repair comes with a 1 year warranty, so I'll sleep good tonight.

We contacted Davis Repair about our Thermador freezer approximately five months ago. At the time, he was professional and pleasant. I specifically asked whether replacing the recommended parts would actually resolve the problem or whether we would be better off purchasing a new refrigerator. He assured me that once the part and the freezer lock were replaced, the issue would be resolved.

Based on that assurance, we followed his recommendations and spent approximately $2,500 on the repairs.

Fast-forward, last week, the freezer was again not working properly. I contacted him because, naturally, we were frustrated after having spent that amount of money. Instead of acknowledging our frustration, his response was, "It's not like it broke down in 2 or 3 days, it took 5 months."

He came out again last week and charged us another $658. Unfortunately, the freezer still did not work properly after the service. The check has already been cashed, and we have now decided to purchase a new refrigerator.

What is most disappointing to me is not simply the money we spent, but the fact that I specifically asked five months ago whether we should repair the refrigerator or replace it. I relied on his professional recommendation, spent approximately $2,500 following that recommendation, and ultimately ended up needing a new refrigerator anyway.

I have already communicated my concerns to him and left the decision regarding the most recent payment with him. In my view, when a customer spends thousands of dollars following a repair recommendation and the underlying problem ultimately remains unresolved, it is reasonable to expect the service provider to acknowledge the customer's frustration and stand behind the work.

My experience was that the interaction was pleasant as long as everything was going according to his expectations, but when I raised concerns about the results of the repair, I felt my frustration was not handled professionally.

I am sharing this experience so other customers can make an informed decision before spending a significant amount of money on repairs for a Thermador refrigerator or freezer and I wish instead of relying on his advice I researched the issue more to see that maybe repair was not the way to go.

My GE washer wasn't spinning/draining, I tried some YouTube fixes but couldn't get it to work.  I called Davis Appliance Repair on a Friday and made an appointment for Monday. I received a call before the technician arrived and after he diagnosed the issue (band was worn out!), he gave me a quote and was able to replace the band and fix the washer. We have been using Davis' services for many years.  We trust him with all repairs.  We have different manfacturers and his knowledge of my sub-Zero, Thermador, and Bosch is amazing. He is responsive, extremely knowledgable,  efficient, kind and trustworthy.  Thankful he could come the same day, had the part, and had it installed within 1/2-1 hour time. We have used Davis Appliance Repair a few times now and they have never let us down! We discovered extensive rust damage on the backs of our fridge and freezer during a kitchen renovation and thought we would have to get new ones. Davis was able to save us thousands by removing the rust, sealing  and insulating the freezer to prevent the rust issue from recurring. Super happy with the service and results! I had an issue with my built-in KitchenAid Refrigerator where the freezer was cold but the fridge was getting warn. Davis was very responsive. He came on the same day after few hours, arrived on time, and carefully checked the evaporator and fan area. He clearly explained the issue and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was also able to fix  it the same day since had the necessary part in his van. I really appreciated his professionalism and honesty and efficiency.

David came to my home to assess trouble with my microwave. This company was my "second opinion" as the first estimate seemed really high and the first person who came tried to upsell me on other work that I didn't need. David's estimate was fair and close to what I expected. I appreciated the honest discussion as to whether or not repair was better or replacement. He also checked out my wash machine which ended up as running perfectly. With learning how it is supposed to work, we can have realistic expectations for its use.
